If you are registering for more than one item (i.e. registering for the season plus the summer practice session, or football plus cheerleading you’ll have to return to this page again and do the same thing.
Northport-Commack Youth Football is a winning program with a rich history and tradition of inspiring players to excel on and off the field. In addition to cultivating competitive football players, we emphasize camaraderie, hard work, school, and family. Our leaders and coaches are some of the most dedicated people in the community who take pride in their role helping to mold players into ambitious and respectful young adults with good values.
Being part of our football program is unlike playing any other sport. Don’t take our word for it, just speak to some of the kids that play. Kids get top notch equipment, high quality jerseys with their names printed on the back, good coaching and football instruction, and games under the lights with cheerleaders. There are many exciting events throughout the season including our Season Kickoff Jamboree, BBQ’s & Tailgates, College Field Trips, Cocktail Party, Clam Bake & Bonfire at Steers Beach, the Awards Brunch, and more!
TACKLE FOOTBALL
The fee for 5/6 year old Pee Wee Football is $225.00
The fee for 7-11 year old football is $285.00
Includes Free Clinics, State-of-the-Art Equipment, Premium SEC Style Jersey with Name, Kickoff Jamboree, Pink Socks (Breastcancer Fundraiser)

Approximately 8-10 games depending on age group
DIVISIONS:
TRAVEL TEAMS
*Note: We do our best to make everyone happy but Coach or Team requests are not guaranteed. Your child will be placed on a team best suited for them and in respect to our mission statement.
The following are travel teams that play throughout Suffolk County. Home games are at Vets Field and Northport High School. Games are played on Sunday mornings/afternoons, and occasionally games held on Friday and Saturday nights. There are at least 3 practices a week at East Northport Middle School and/or Vets Field, the times and days are determined by the head coach.
5/6 year old division (Pee Wee): Depending on registration numbers there are usually one or two 5/6 year old teams. Pee Wee games are played Saturdays or Sundays and may be at East Northport Middle School or VETS field.
7 year old division: Depending on registration numbers there are usually one or two 7 year old teams.
8 year old division: Depending on registration numbers there are usually one or two 8 year old teams.
9 year old division: Depending on registration numbers there are usually two or three 9 year old teams.
10 year old division: Depending on registration numbers there are usually two or three 10 year old teams.
11 year old division: Depending on registration numbers there are usually two or three 11 year old teams.
CHEERLEADING
The fee for fall Tigers Cheerleading is $225.00.
Cheer is open to students entering grades K- 6 in the upcoming school year.
- The season runs from July through the end of November.
- Practice begins in July and run 1x a week throughout the season.
- Each squad has a Team Parent (mom and/or dad) in addition to a Team Coach.
- Teams are divided by grade level and are determined after registration
- We cheer at home and select away Tigers football games and some special events.
- Practice location and times will not be announced prior to registration.
- There is a uniform deposit fee of $100.00 (you will receive this deposit back at end of season when uniform is returned)
- To be supplied by the parents: White cheer sneakers, no-show socks, black compression shorts, and white crop top (available for purchase through the league).
- Pom Poms, Cheer Bow and team Sweatshirt are part of registration fee and yours to keep!

SUMMER PRACTICE SESSIONS – THESE SESSIONS HAVE BEEN RUN FOR OVER 10 YEARS!
Football
The fee for Summer Football Session is $250.00 and it will rune July 8-12 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Northport Commack Youth Football has an exciting Summer Football Session for kids 7 years old and up; This is a great opportunity for kids to get a head start on the short football season. Past session and events sponsored by Northport Youth Football Club have featured NFL Celebrities like Greg Buttle, NCAA Players, and more! The Summer Session is hosted at VETS Field and run by Varsity Coaches and players. The morning sessions concentrate on offensive and defensive individual skill development and the afternoon consists of offensive and defensive team work and games.
Cheerleading Summer Practice Session
Tigers Cheerleading Summer Session is a great way to try cheerleading for the first time or get a jump start on the upcoming season. During the summer session cheerleaders will spend the week preparing a full cheer routine which will include cheers, chants, basic stunting and tumbling, as well as a dance! 2020 Summer Session will run June 27th – July 3rd from 9am – 2pm at Northport High School with a performance at 1pm on the 3rd. This session is open to students entering 1st – 6th grade in the upcoming school year. The fee for the Summer Cheerleading Summer Session is $250.00 which includes a t-shirt. As a participant in the Northport Commack Youth Football and Cheerleading (“the Club”), I acknowledge that participation in the Club for Football and or Cheerleading exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I, hereby release the Club, and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, independent contractors and affiliates, from any and all liability from property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from or in connection with my participation in the Club including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent. I covenant that I will not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against Northport Commack Youth Football and Cheerleading (“the Club”) and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, independent contractors and affiliates, arising out of or relating to the actions, causes of action, claims and demands hereby waived, released or discharged by me. For good and adequate consideration, which I acknowledge I have received, I hereby grant, release, and quitclaim to the Club the right and authority to use, sell, reproduce, and distribute, quoted material, biographical information, my photograph, likeness, email address, recorded voice or videotaped filmed appearances obtained in connection with the Club (the “Materials”) for promotional and advertising purposes or programs as the Club in its sole discretion will deem appropriate. I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Participant Authorization, Injury Waiver, and General Release Form. This agreement will be binding on me, my spouse, my children, legal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns.
